A boat tour through the winding Gambia River surrounded by True Mangroves is an absolute highlight. While silently floating through the waterscape, one is able to see various species of rare birds. The True Mangroves are populated by oysters which enriches the Gambian Oyster industry.
After the boat tour, you will be able to eat in a house that was built on stilts by a German emigrant and enjoy the beautiful view on Gambia River and the True Mangroves.

You will come across store after store on the premises. If you are looking for souvenirs, you are going to be perfectly happy here: wood carvings like masks, drums, figures, bowls, jewelry, spoons and can openers are offered here. Most of them are made from mahogany wood, some from ebony.
