Schools and “women’s gardens”

Dawda will show you a school with kindergarten in Markissa that was founded 25 years ago by an association from Mühlheim an der Ruhr (close to Duisburg), Germany.
Additionally, you will be able to visit a “women`s garden”, which is project by the Gambian government: Women are given a piece of land to grow vegetables and sell afterwards.
